I don't think so either. They are stressing that this summer will be the most important and toughest summer McCann will ever go through. They really want to see him step up and elevate himself. I would say he has a ton riding on how he is doing come next OCT.

I'd think about it, but I'd be reluctant. He wants out of a pretty good situation to be closer to home. He might find that when his contract is up he wants to be closer still.

strange time to have a town hall...

catch 22 with telling the fans what their plans are. I have just been happy to see so much youth get into the lineup and vets moved or no longer with the team.

not expecting them to tear it down to bare bones but don't think we are really that far away from that with some ntc's becoming the biggest hurdle for JB.

They threw Radim under the bus lol. Said they have been shopping him for quite some time but NO ONE was interested. The only team that showed remote interest was Chicago (who was on his list) but obviously decided to go with Ladd instead.

Needs to get stronger on the puck basically.
If he can do it like BO did the future is bright.
The kid will find his scoring as he grows n develops.
Expect all the kids n draft picks to do so.

Some of his poor performance is on the club. No real plan for where he would slot in this season. They should have moved him in the summer when his value was high.

Can't remember who posted that link to the Canuck prospects on Sportsnet with the video of John Shannon with Tim & Sid... Shannon gave a nice reasonable perspective/guess on how everything shook out for Vancouver at TDL , T&S listened and nodded as he spoke and then when he was finished, ignored everything he said and continued with the hysteria...

My issue is that relying on "pretty sure" is not quite good enough. Our future and potential number 1 goalie is not officially ours until he is signed. I think it should be a high high priority.

I think Horvat should be above Granlund, but the way WD has deployed the lines, it is often hard to figure out which line is which beyond the top line, as in 2,3,4... looking at ice time, pp and pk screw up the totals.

Lots of centres, lots of options. I hope Cassels can get healthy and continue developing.
