What about Rodin? - we_are_all_canucks
I ignored him as he is small and it wouldn't help me prove my point...I'm training to be a part of the hysterics crowd as they appear to be stronger than the circle jerk gang at the moment |

Size and toughness aren't the same thing. Canucks need more players who are difficult to play against and are able to pressure their opponents into making mistakes. Ferland is the easiest example to point to for the desired cause and effect relationship, but he's not exactly the type of player I'd be looking for. Guys with more skill who have that component to their game. Virtanen could turn out to be that type of player, but they need more than one in their lineup. - YeOldTimer
Pedan and Tryamkin would be the toughest guys on the roster so it's a start |

This is all part and parcel to being hard to play against, as someone posted earlier, not one forward follows through on their checks, this is mindboggling and quite concerning to me. Why pressure into the offensive zone only to float on by and not at least put pressure for a turn over. If the dman knows that the canuck forward is just doing a fly by then it's much easier for the team to clear their zone.
This is a culture that I do not understand, where does it originate from, and why dear god is WD not doing something about this? Ferland may have limited skills, but man does he play his role well when playing the canucks. |

No I'm caught up now, to many meetings and delivery guys today. The old Loomis guy smoked more than me, so he was here every lunch break, I found him sleeping in the van in my driveway several times. |

Very wishful thinking and unlikely due to Bennings record, but anyone on here think itd be possible to make a trade to winnipeg for say, Tanev+McCann for Trouba and maybe Petan, then offer sheet Barrie or Gudbranson.
Also is Tanevs brother still signing here? |

Trouba by himself maybe, I don't know how you think Petan slips into that deal. I think it could happen if Trouba sticks to wanting big money, which I've heard he does on TSN or sportsnet at some point I think. Maybe Hamonic NYI do this deal instead though... hard to say. Tanev brings some qualities they do not have though, dependability for one. Could be a good fit with the likes of Buff or Myers. Maybe they could use a position guy to compliment their already very physical corps. |

What could possibly be more fitting for a montage about learning how to whine/complain? |

The only way the Jets are trading Trouba is if he's demanding 7+, they would trade Myers first. |
