I'll be watching the GOP debate instead of the game tonite... looking for another big win by Trump.

Id say only Gaunce and Pedan actually look NHL ready out of that list. I'm all about giving kids a shot, but it needs to be at the right time. I really hope Trymakin is open to playing in the A, Grenier I've never been impressed by I think he might be a career AHLer myself. Larsson is a maybe out of training camp, but clearly needs to try to bulk up.

Next season, Tryamkin is nhl or he's not coming here.

In
Tryamkin. Peden. Larson. Gaunce. Laine

Out
Weber. Bart. Sbisa. Vrabata. Mccann

Laine we winning the second lottery I guess, I don`t hate that!
Also, I've heard this opinion of Tree playing in the NHL or not coming before, is there a source to this? I'm not being smarmy, I've just never heard of the player having this attitude myself.

I don't buy that. Guys want to play in the best league, I'm sure Nylander would have been paid pretty well in russia, swiss or swedish leagues but he chose to stick it out in the A because that's what he needed to do to make it. I hope Tree realizes that he may have to do the same, or that he is just NHL ready and it doesn't matter (that would be even better!)

It's not NHL or not coming over, it's NHL money or not coming over.

John Oliver did a good piece on him this week.

You can't compare a Swede (who was born in Canada) who grew up with the NHL to a Russian who doesn't speak the language and is comfortable playing in Russia.

That was quite well done, one of his better segments I've seen – though the Canadian election show with Mike Myers at the end was fantastic too. Living in the states, I'm genuinely afraid of Trump's rhetoric and momentum. I'd seriously contemplate moving if he won.

Well I just did, so go figure. Nylander was playing in the swedish league before, that's why he is in the A as a 19 year old. He chose to come over to earn his stripes, this is what Detroit/Chicago/Tampa is able to get their prospects to do. I really like how Toronto has managed Nylander, leaving him in the A and bringing him up for the last 20 games.

It also gives their fans something to cheer for the remainder of the season. I don't know if this tear down will lead Toronto to respectibity or not, and if it does it probably won't be as quick as they think, but they are certainly implementing their plan to a T.

I like the sven/bo/JV line, wouldn't hate an extended show with the sedins too. Just get him to go to the net.
