Still cant believe Lunqvist's penalty was only 2 minutes. No matter what its the refs call when to stop play. This sets an awful precedent....player is on a breakaway, just turn around and knock the net off....better off killing a 2 min penalty.
Also, where are all the Rags fans on this board now?? |

Breakaway is an auto goal I believe, Didn't an AHLer do that?
All depends on the level of scoring chance in the refs opinion I think |

Yeh and 1 of those 4 losses was a 6-2 drubbing at the hands of the Pens! They made some nice additions at the deadline as well (Pirri and McGinn) |

Just watched Scuds stink up the defensive zone. Screened Quick when the shooter wasn't even to the top of the circle yet. Subban scores. - MattStrat
Did you also see Subban totally lose the puck, fall down, and let the Kings player walk right in and score? |

Great to see the team get the win.
Also great to see Lundqvist drop his reputation down another step. Guy is starting to really show he is just a (frank)ing wanker (although still goes ok in goal ). Rags are self destructing this season, play well then poop themselves becoming an inconsistent mess - especially the coach. On the other hand it appears that the Pens are starting to play some real solid hockey - not winning enough as yet but heading in the right direction at the right time of year.
Well I guess we'll find out how precious Lundqvist is next week when we get to do it all again!
Oh, & just 1 more thing...............................

Our next couple games are very winnable. Then we get theses babies again. It would be nice to string together some wins and go I to the playoffs bot getting the capitals first round. |

Good to see Hank get rattled and lose his cool. It's usually one of our stars when we play them. Geno looks like himself and it's good to see kessel get on the board even if it was an empty net |

In regards to our Schultz debate last evening, Yohe had something really interesting to say.
So Schultz is essentially insurance this season. He'll get spot games down the stretch, but he'll be our 8D once the playoffs start. That said, the FO doesn't see the 3rd they gave up for him as peanuts and acquired him for a reason. They have faith that Gonchar can improve his game and the Pens can sign him to a team friendly contract. If anyone can get through to Justin Schultz, I guess it's Gonchar. I don't have too much faith, but this is probably the best scenario Schultz could find himself in. Sit out the remainder of the season and collect yourself and learn under one of the game's best. Regain your confidence and come out swingin next year |

But what about that qualifying offer? Admittedly, I'm not well-versed on that matter. Does it have to be at least 3.9 mill? if it does, can it be spread over years? |

That's what OP said, but we gave Bennett a pay cut this past summer so I'm not sure that's right. Anyways, if the minimum is 3.9 AAV, I take a hard pass |
