Even if you win the cup, they'll still troll. Then it'll be "Oooh you had Hank for all those years and ONLY got ONE cup!??" We deal with it with the same line with Crosby all the time. It gets comical.

It's what trolls do.

Nobody can take away that one title for the Pens though. Fans that insult Crosby, for only winning one title, are pathetic.

We know very well, even though it was pre internet days in 1994, all Ranger fans heard forever was "1940" & "you'll NEVER win a Cup" & when we won in 94 it immediately went to "well it took you forever" & "1 since 40". Haters gonna hate like the saying goes. I try & not let it get to me. Life's too short.

Hahaha yeah, see.. I don't mind a good troll. If it's clever, and makes me laugh, I'm all for it. But if it's overused (Cindy Crysby, or all that poop), it's just bad. They don't upset me. I come here for entertainment, at least be clever in your trolls.

A win tonight with Raanta in net will go a long way as far as confidence
- KreiderBomb

He's starting to get his game back. If the Rangers can keep this game even stregth they have a great shot at winning.

They get into a penalty parade they will get their doors blown off.

I am a little surprised that there is only 1 cup in that time. I honestly thought it was the start of a mini dynasty.

I want to see AV involve Staal more, show us the reason why he's the missing piece, there's no reason why you use your remaining cap space on one player and use him as your 3rd line Center, if that was your plan then why not pick up 2 players who make them deeper

I have been extremely fortunate to have seen 3 Stanley Cups and 2 Super Bowls brought back to Pittsburgh along with 2 more Super Bowls they've lost, and a Cup finals lost to Detroit. Like you said, for anyone trying to insult people on those merits, it just goes to show their ignorance or lack of respect for athletes IMO. Or as someone else said... Haters gon' hate.

I did. I am sort of interested, Nuno would be the #1 reason why I'd want to go, although Vai would be cool.

I may go, only if there isn't a Ranger playoff game that night

I know some of you guys play guitar, have no idea who this guy is, Michael Mac? But pretty (frank)ing talented, and can even make some songs sound good musically, even though I might not like them.

when I see someone like this I can tell who he listens to, he probably listens to Petrucci, Paul Gilbert even Nuno Bettencourt. Definitely good player.

Injuries man, I'm not trying to use it as an excuse by any means, but it's just the facts. So many key players have been hurt in the years after that Cup, and Shero had some ridiculously bad signings with his loyalty contracts.. Bylsma got a little stale in his game plan and tried forcing things (stretch passes and Iggy on his off wing). All of that poop snowballing together just got worse and worse. I think the Pens are no. 1 in man games lost to injury since like 2007 or some poop like that. Look at the teams that have been successful since then, they're on the complete other side of the spectrum

It's sad that people thrive on trying to downplay accomplishments of others or live to make others unhappy.

One thing to root for your team quite another to root against and be happy when others fail.

the first thing I thought of when Marc Staal had the flu was that must mean Eric will get it, I saw the pics of them together at Casino night. It is strange that Eric only played 14:45 last night, maybe he was feeling it
- jimbro83

I know it's only 2 games but Eric looks slow out there. I hope he is just trying to learn the system and it takes some time.

Yeah, you guys are like the Blues of the East.

It also goes to show how (frank)ing hard it is to win the Cup and what the Hawks have been able to do is something really special.

I heard a interview w Steve Vai (Long Island born) where he was real candid about his early career, auditioning for Zappa & how nervous he was, working w David LEE Roth & all that 80s debauchery. What could have been w a collaboration w Ozzy in the early 90s but it fell apart as the 2 egos couldn't work together (he admitted as much). Great stuff. I will try & find it again & post it.

Maybe Staal is feeling a bit under the weather and that is why he didn't give him a ton of ice time.

I, like you and the rest of the fan base, would much rather see Eric Staal out there instead of Tanner Glass, when needing offense.

Vigneault didn't oops his way into winning over 500 NHL games in his coaching career. He might not be having his best season but he is far from a bad coach.
