I can see Edler waiving to play in Florida or NYC but I don't see Benning giving him up.

I think Lnden said today Sutter will play wing next year with the Twins.. What becomes of Hansen .

Benning said they will have 17 mil in cap space this year. To achieve that , this would mean no Hamhuis and I believe buy out Higgins.

The other thing they said was ownership did not meddle , yet Linden said they asked FA a week ago if it was ok to deal with Dallas and were given permission. That there sounds like ownership has to ok things.

I think that has more to do with Gaglardi.

Yup . Aware of ownership rubber stamping things. Some owners more than others.

Sometimes being so open doesn't help. As a fan I appreciate the honesty. I don think the image though leaves fans with total confidence. As I always say I am in their corner and like what they are doing . Their style though does leave them targets for critique. The Higgins announcement twice this year. Showing their cards today.
