I dont mind that, with what he has to work with he isnt bad, would of liked playing Pedan more and not putting dorse out final minutes of the gam. Plus dont want to end up like the oilers and having to keep switching the systems, if the kids are buying into this one let it stay

its kinda my point. There IS no system in place....and there should be. Team still uses AVs old system....minus the dump and change policy. I want someone to come in who WILL implement 1. Esp on D...it badly needs a framework for theser guys to work within.

thats why you start a new guy NOW...so a system comes in a the kids learn it now since it takes awhile to become ingrained.

Since this group has been on we have had the worst D in the league, near the bottom PP and PK with pretty much the exact same group of players as the years previous.

and Getting schooled by other coaches almost every game is NOT acceptable.

There is no D in this years draft that I consider NHL ready. For me to trade Tanev would need to be like Vatanen plus or Fla a package deal like Hansen JM Tanev for Crouse Gudbrandson .

If you can re-sign Hamhuis and trade Tanev for a decent return I'd certainly go that route.
