Tanev has got to go.Then have the $ to sign Hamhuis. Assume we well get a decent d in return with upside like you mentioned in a package deal.
The guy is soft, non physical, can't hit the net, can't sift through passes, and basically plays to safe a game. - kaptaan
Ya I'm starting to really come around to the idea of trading Tanev…Hansen too. Edler will most likely stay a few more seasons to help the PP but really what would be the point of bringing back Hammer at this point if we are shopping Tanev? With the exception of Edler the culture change would essentially be complete back there on D, then we could start chasing Hamonic and getting Pedan and tryamkin in the lineup. Not a fan of bringing Hammer back at all. |

9 pts tonight for Canucks skaters, 7 of them going to players aged 24 and under... - LeftCoaster
We don't need players over 30 now |

Not sure the Nucks will miss him. This team is all about the kids lately - CanuckDon
They won't miss Hank. It's the kids turn now. It has been like that for the last 20 games.
I said before on the PP there was too much cycling not enough shooting. You can see now when the opposition doesn't know where the puck is going ( Hank to Danny) it is a lot harder to defend.
Having that point shot from Sven makes a difference also. |

Met a guy tonight with really long fingernails. He was a leaf fan. What's that all about? - bloatedmosquito
He has good hands. He has been producing. I like him and WD likes him . Expect him to centre Danny and Etem |

I hope they bring back Vey next year. He can play up and down the lineup. He is finding his stride on the PP . He creates chances. He costs next to nothing. Worst case scenario he scores 10 goals on the PP and we trade him at TDL for a fourth.
I think you definitely bring him back next year. Get rid of the vets, you have a good core of kids. |

Everyone hates him here but the puck is usually in the opposite end when he is on the ice. |

I have always agreed that he does create chances but he is still a defensive liability. |

He has worked very well on his defensive capabilities and his strength on pucks really seems to be improving. His skating and ice coverage have never really been an issue for me just a bit of strength and defense and those are coming around. I hope WD remains consistent with his TOI. |

We said that about Hutton and JV earlier this year too. The kids are learning. WD had him on the PK last night. The kid is growing. I would lock him up at 1.2 for 3 years if I was Benning. If he doesn't work out trade him or send him to Utica. You could end up with a nice bargain |

I wouldn't pay him more than Baertchi. Not a chance he is worth 500 000 more. |

Sven is going to get a raise this year. He will be North of 1.5
Vey already makes 100 k more than Sven . He is an UFA this summer and makes 1 mil now. Give him a modest raise of 200k and term and lock him up for three years. Like I said if you send him down the cap hit is 250 k |

Sign Hutton baertschi and Bo Ling term for btween 2 and 3 if you can |

I guess that is fair and he is strong on his skates which I like but he is very soft for a centre, weak on the dot and bad on defence. He is better suited to the wing. I would say if we let him go for nothing it looks like bad asset management in the same token I wonder what he would get in the UFA market. I would bet only a two way. |

They have moved him to wing
I am going to say he scores 5 more goals this year if the keep him on the PP
Sven ends up with 18
Vey 9 or 10 |
