Now the goal should be to train them in a winning environment. |

Good article from McIntyre. Alex Burrows is playing in his 750 th game as a Canuck. Burrows admits, he would not be surprised if tonight was the last time he wears the jersey. |

If he were to retire, do we have any sort of cap recapture penalty?
A good guy, just has lost a step and can't finish...
(guessing we won't hear him say his contract sucks )

Oh yes๐
JB has done well drafing n more to come.
Good points bro๐๐ป - Nighthawk
yes....we FINALLY have a guy at the helm that can draft! Last guy was Quinn and JB is better if you ask me.
Any JB hater who's calling for his head for Hamhius non deal isnt looking at the big picture. |

If canucks are smart/lucky as poop in free agency and targeted Stamkos and maybe a d man ( I like Jason Demers, Dallas hasnt resigned him yet), this is how I would roll the lines, this is if no trades were made and they just decided to signed ppl this summer.
Dank-Hank-Stamkos
Baertschi-Horvat-Sutter
Gaunce-McCann-Virtanen
Dorsett-Granlund-Etem
Tanev-Edler
Hutton-Demers
Sbisa- whichever young kid impresses in camp
nothin' wrong with that.
(edit) mixed up dallas/sj |

the forwards are sure stacked there...problem is it doesnt leave enough role players which is needed and I know you know that. We need guys like Dorsett....sure THat line up will have JV and Gaunce....But Id say we would be better with dorsett or that type of player onboard. We need our shut down forwards, which is something the kesler trade left a hole in.
for that reason Sutter can also play shutdown C when needed paired w gaunce and dorsett. hes good at that as are the other 2. Very Effective shutdown line with size.
subban clearly is not defensively responsible for NHL. Would take more than 1 season in schooling him. |

NHL exploring possibility of raising draft age to 19
I've said for a few years they should be doing this. Go back to 19 |

Agree totally but going up 1yr is a harder obstacle than it was going down a year.
Idk how a year with a huge void could be done. |
