At least they're in the postseason, bub....
- Team_Teal

Come on now. A sniff at the playoffs and now the fan base is on board?

That building has been empty most of the season and from what I have seen they are highly skeptical.

Rightfully so. Look at our fan base... They saw right through the idea of just trying to make it a round in the playoffs.

You are either built for the playoffs or you are pretending.

I am happy that we are at least not pretending anymore, so we are further ahead of the curve than you guys.

It will get worse before it gets better.

Come back if you need a sympathetic shoulder to cry on.

We get. We really do.

How about just grow the (frank) up and learn to laugh at yourself (and team).

The constant whingeing in here about "trolls" is laughable, I feel bad for Makita having to hand out Kleenex's in here because some someone came came in and made fun of the team we cheer for.

- belcherbd

Thanks belcherbd, I'd have to take another job to afford all the kleenex needed

BTW Mr. Teal just earned a timeout for trying to provoke and making disparaging remakes about the canucks

Want to bring up choking? Let's talk about rioting for a spell....

- Team_Teal

Bringing up the routing will get you banned, just a warning. ...

I actually see the sharks as the nucks doppelganger.
Old stars, young up and coming core.
Sharks missed last year, we'll miss this year.

First of all, I didn't flag anybody. Second of all, no I will not take your unsolicited advice. If somebody is trashing on the Canucks they should be dealt with just like Canucks posters are when they go to the Leaf thread. I don't think you would be so forgiving if your boy Gillis was still running the show

Love it in Metchosin, awesome rural community. Mychosin cafe is the stereotypical country restaurant, good food and lots of it, about 15 mins walking distance from my property

The Shirley Delicious just down the road is pretty bloody good and had a great clubhouse sandwich at The 17 Mile Pub, real roasted turkey!

Yep, they are a few years ahead of us but a nice balance of different aged players and we are more extreme with not much between the old and young... don't think we have anyone in the middle age group like a Couture or Pavelski

thanks Makita.

Was at the 17 on Sat night, in the summer a group of us likes to play volleyball on their sand court out back, great place and like 150 years old.

Sorry if you thought, I was singling you out....but you've proved my point.

As for my boy Gillis, had you been around you would of known I was supportive of his firing and very critical of him as well.

I guess it is all shock value... trying to create or push conflict.

My dad was asking me about experts, or pundits, arguing a point, doesn't one of them have to be wrong and if so what kind of credibility does the wrong expert have? Just like the rants, they don't carry any weight when you are ranting daily and often about something that isn't rant worthy, just to fill air time.

What I find frustrating is media is always looking to get someone fired because they don't agree with a plan or course of action.

- hillbillydeluxe

Of course they need to create some controversy and what not but with him it's always the same sh*t over and over.. Acts like he knows everything but literally just spews non stop crap all the time.. I just can't stand him lol.. Our media is absolutely terrible.. I don't know if I could pick one guy on TV or radio where I'm like ok he knows what he's talking about and isn't just trying to start something.. That's all our media does. Trys to create hysteria

I think the Sharks are the closest thing to a rebuild on the fly we have seen in recent years. If that is still the plan for this group, we should be looking at them as the model.

Burns, Pavelski, Couture, Vlasic have transitioned to the core from Marleau, Thornton and Boyle all while staying competitive barring last year.

They also have a really solid group of youngsters in Hertl, Neito, Mueller, Tierney, Donskoi, Karlsson among others.

Reimer/Jones could work out pretty okay too, I cant wait to see this team get thrashed in the first round though.

They may have a decent team but their fans don't know when is an appropriate time to cheer or boo. I can't believe Linden chirped their fanbase. Linden is the ultimate troll

I never noticed that.

A few years ago, I saw a Ducks - Sharks game in Anaheim and it was a great atmosphere with a large amount of Sharks fans in attendance.

Oh not much...it was at the townhall and I found it amusing. Paraphrasing "when the puck goes near the net in SJ they go crazy....where in Van, the fans understand the game better and react accordingly."

Something like that.
The atmosphere and Canucks games is pretty bad. I'd actually prefer more clueless but boisterous fans
