#Canucks confirm Edler went on LTI this week. Lots of cap space for Tryamkin. Deal close. Team working on KHL release and visa.

Hard to blame a guy where they play you too far up in the lineup that's where Sumter was supposed to be the 2nd line center and main penalty centreman. Better gauge would be next year when Sutter is back and Bo can continue to grow rather than being thrown to the wolves all the time.

He hasn't had a good year, but when you're the center matchup against the other team's #1 line every night and you're 20 it is a bit of trial by fire to be fair. +/- is a pretty awful stat, if you look at his corsi relative to the competition he is theyoungest guy on the "against the best" out of all forwards by a wide margin and he's not on the bottom. I think the first half of the year was pretty awful for Bo, if were being honest everyone knows it is true. But he looks to have found his stride in the second half here and IMO has been the best canuck the past 20 games.

Bo had a poor start but now when his linens on they control play. The kid is 20 drives to the net and is impressive as hell. Gonna be a great great player. Perhaps our best in the second half

Not saying we should give-up on him, but my thoughts on his 'ceiling' as a two way forward just got an injection of reality.

You are correct, trial by fire...and he burned...badly. It's not good. You expect him to get his wallet handed to him, but worst in the league...no one should sink to that low unless you are playing an AHL team.

To be clear, I wouldn't trade him. He's got a good shot is good on F/O's andmight have just his a confidence bump. Hopefully the next shot machine he plays with shoots better than 6.6% (last year Vrbata shot 11% - career he's 9%).

But, the original point was that it's been a disaster this year, which I don't see anyone can argue their way out of. Same with Vrbata, Bartowski and Weber...and those three are thankfully gone at the end of season.
