Toiletpaperbuzz. This is very exciting.
Here's an appropriate Seinfeld gif to celebrate.

the unwritten rule of posting seinfeld clips in relation to a conversation topic is that you just post the clip. if the clip is really appropriate, then there is no reason to state as such before posting said clip.

I feel like crawling under a rock. I'm so embarrassed.
the point is we'd get a more sure thing further along in his development who can contribute massively NOW and well as long into the future. - orangekrush2010
We would be getting an NHL player for a prospect. That doesnt happen without overpayment of potential. I think a situation like CHI-CBJ is an okay guideline but everyone knew chicago had to make a trade
Im also not sure speeding up the development process is necessary or even desired

couldn't disagree more- you want to make the current team as good as possible now without sacrificing the future. In this case, you would accomplish that.

I would do it because, starting next year, this team should start making strides to improve. Sanheim most likely will spend the bulk of next year in the AHL, while Trouba would be your top-pair key cog. Also, Sanheim may or may never be an NHL player, while Trouba is a known, good commodity. It would be different if Trouba was in his late 20's on the decline, but he's yet to reach his peak yet.
Yup, I grew up playing ball there...was the Lower Chichester Little League or someting? I'll have to break out those old pics. I used to walk to the bowling alley across 322 all the time. That place is so very different now. - wolfhounds
I know. I get back once in awhile because I have family and friends that still live in that area.
I was just back there recently for something and actually had to use my GPS to get to a location just off of Naaman's Road because I had completely blanked on how to get there even though I had gone past this particular location countless times growing up. It was embarrassing.
