How many years before he is fired? Toronto got the memo on how to tank, but didn't they see the paragraph on firing coaches to keep the fans happy when you are losing year after year?

A good legacy for Babcock, identified with the losing Leafs, teaching ahl players how to lose properly in years one to three of a rebuild with him being the only constant besides the losing record.

As I understand it, the speed of the game is professional level (ECHL/AHL (varies based on team by team basis)) skill is maybe slightly higher then AHL but not quite NHL class. The physicality is definitely not there, so yeah, there's that. They play mostly with international rules so physical play is mostly frowned upon and KHL players can't get away with what players in the NA leagues could get away with.

I was just watching on tsn a story about how Jagr says he extended his career playing in Russia since they Practice a ton more and expect peak physical condition of players. So he says playing there is the reason hes still going. He credits it as the reason.

THis is good to know in regards to tryamkin and also the nhl khl comparison.

So I guess we will find out how this turns out once the "Future Considerations" have been determined.
