Agreed...green is doing a good job but he is even more unproven than Willie was when he made the jump. Green is also overly loyal to the vets which would annoy the fanbase

Hysteria, honestly some of you need to expand your vocabulary, sometimes a discussion is just that.....

You are correct that AHL success doesn't guarantee NHL success but almost all coaches spend time in the AHL before making the jump to NHL and almost all of them have success at that level before making the jump.
Discounting what Green has done because some coaches haven't made the transition is pretty close-minded.

I have no idea whether Green will have success at the NHL level but he has now twice taken pretty mediocre rosters and gotten good results out of them while having young players contribute in significant ways.
