Only via co-operation. Also that's a very poor way to handle things. - BINGO!
whys that? So you can still come here and bless us with your trolling and insults?
You posted no reasoning for your comment nor a "better way to do it" so it appears you are here simply to spread your negativity |

Outside of Shink i could care less about the rest.
Sven is relatively small, the really interesting scenario is going to be if Subban ever gets a real shot under Benning (another small Gillis pick). - Whiskey-Tango
If their play on the ice suits their skill set n surrounded properly sure.
Complimentary forwards n D partner r what makes it fly IMO.
Chemistry n a well rounded roster i like. |

I believe it usually consists of a few options with an out clause (or default settlement) if something cant be reached. This likely means JB has interest in some prospect from CAR and wants to scout and find a spot for them (EDIT: or the player to be returned has been identified and they are letting him finish the season in CAR organization), otherwise it'll end up being a draft pick. - WhiteLie
Wow Ron, you totally got robbed on that deal with Vancouver? Why'd you make it?
Well.......we had to honour future considerations...... |

I'm assuming a 7th rounder would be in order
Asset management. - Whiskey-Tango
JB must have gotten tired off all the crybabies who freak out when he trades a draftpick.
So he trades a prospect with little to no shot on our roster for future considerations (which means if the guy plays for the A or, somehow makes the Hurricanes roster we get incrementally better pick) and people sh!t on him.

I'm in no rush to see Subban brought up to the bigs personally.
Let him continue to develop in the AHL.
Either he will be brought up when the time is right, or used as a trade chip.
I'm good either way. - dbot
hes clearly no where close to ready with the report from green on his defensive deficiencies ....Ive said it before. This kid plays like a winger and IMO should be converted to one. D sometimes jump up in the play sure but I've never seen one park themselves behind the opposition net leaving the blue line open. His strength would make him a good physical scoring winger.
I think his chances of making nhl also go way up with that conversion |

I'm not poopting on him. I've always found "future considerations" to be a funny trade asset.
It reminds me of my dating days.
"Will you commit to me if I sleep with you?"
" I'll consider it." |

On a more serious note, WTF are future considerations anyways?
I wonder how that works out on deadline day?
After careful consideration, I don't accept your trade proposal. - golfingsince
From what I understand, for a trade to be legit, there needs to be an exchange of some kind, you can't just give away a player.
I won't be surprised if it ends up being rights to a RFA neither teams ends up signing or an exchange of 7th round picks. |

The future considerations is probably a conditional pick, depending on if Fox signs with the Canes, if he doesn't sign the Canucks probably get nothing. |

More often than not, Future considerations means "for nothing". Typically you would see something like: "If they win the Stanley Cup in 2016 with Dane playing at least 10 playoff games, Vancouver will get a 7th round pick."
In other words, "thank you for taking this contract off our hands - not having to paid his salary going forward is good enough return for us". |

nope. Your penis is not dangerous in your hand.... but inside a woman yes.
Not sure why penis came to your mind.... maybe youve been to jackhammers too many times? |
