The way the Sestito fight went down was pitiful too. Asked Tootoo to dance, Tootoo refused, and then jumped Sestio. Sestito is just another "tough guy" wind bag. Won't fight unless he has someone that's willing to go through all of the pagentry with him. I don't believe a single word he said when it comes to the BJs. If he actually intended to protect our stars, he wouldn't have tried to engineer a fight and would have just faught the player he thought needed to be fought. Just another pre-face off hero we don't need to waste a roster spot on |

Nah the way it looked to me was they were both jawing and ready to go. Sesito just slipped because Totoo tried to jump him real fast before he was ready. He got lucky drawing that penalty, it wasnt intentional. |

Doughty is so good it masks a lot of his short comings. Props to Scuds though for finding his way on to the top pairing of a legit contender. Thought he was done for. - MattStrat

He never dropped his stick or gloves. He goaded Tootoo into a penalty. Sestito will be gone after the BJ's game, but I'll give him credit for getting us a PP. Usually it's the Pens falling for that crap. |

Scuderi and Luke Schenn in the top six D for LAK. That is a disaster waiting to happen. |

Haven't been following it at all in the last week so I couldn't tell you. That's a major mistake from Sutter if he is putting that on the ice. |

I can honestly say I don't remember Sestito having a single good hit, the closest thing I remember was his attempt on Greene in the 1st where he completely missed and slammed himself into the boards, of course everyone got excited though because him colliding with the boards made a lot of noise so at least their was that. I mean they were only created with 10-12 hits as a team so it would be tough to believe Sestito had 30% of the teams total hits in 5 minutes. - jaydogg1974
So Greene didn't fly backwards and hit the ice? You have a 230 lb man almost literally kill you in the first 3 minutes of the game and your approaching the puck differently the entire game. Your obviously too cool to just accept the way things are. Sestito had an impact on the game weather you stats/possession brain dead hockey fans like it or not. |

Well Tootoo did act like he didn't want to fight until he realized he had the jump on him. |

Well if Sestito felt like Tootoo needed to be faught why did he let it get to that point? Staged fights are a joke. |

You should just point out peoples grammatical errors, you know nothing about hockey. |

Isn't there an extra penalty involved now if you fight before the drop of them puck? |

I don't know much. But I've forgotten more than you'll ever know about hockey. You're the biggest dumbass on this board. You can go back to worshipping your heroine Porter now. Or did Sesito replace him in your heart? |

The problem with this whole Sestito thing is that it is gearing up the game to be a physical one. Both teams are going to prepare to murder each other and thats not the type of game we want to play against the BJs.
BJs get an injury it doesn't affect them one bit, an @sshat on their team takes things too far and runs Sid/Geno/Letang and it could end our season.
Stupid. |

Why shouldn't you stage the fight? Sucker punching isn't a gentleman thing to do. Only time you do that is immediately after something dirty.
And yes I agree sestito is probably just gearing up the game to be more physical than it needs to be. That isn't a good thing especially during the regular season as unnecessary injuries derail seasons. |

The more I think about it the more I like the fact they made this public. The only drawback will be if Dubinsky makes Sid an example & really pushes the limits. But bringing this out 'should' put the refs on notice as well that Dubinsky will try & take liberties with Sid & they 'should' sanction accordingly!
Now hoping the Zebs do something right is probably setting my expectations a little high I know, but at the same time..........
Also not sure the Ass Jackets will be thinking straight stepping on the ice - well at least not as straight as they are capable of (they are the Ass Jackets!!! ), so there's a chance if we start fast to get a few early goals before they either get into the game properly or run amuck & try & kill everyone! |

That's what I'm saying. The point of fighting in hockey is to pound someone in who deserves it. Whether it's someone who's been taking liberties or someone you've been having an exceptionally chippy game with. If you're pissed at someone you drop the gloves. This dumb poop jackassery of amicably agreeing to drop the gloves at the face of circle is a kin to WWE. It's phony and void of emotions. There's no point to it |

The instigator sucks but that doesn't mean that there's a place for orchestrated fights. |
