I've watched him a few times and think very highly of him. Not just the points -- his game itself. But yeah, he's going to need to replicate it before he assumes anything higher than 5th on the d prospect list (Provy, Ghost, Sanheim, Morin). I don't want to say he's better than Morin because Big Sam has been getting better every year, has a longer track record, and is closer. But.....going out on a limb, I think Myers has some abilities and offensive instincts Morin doesn't and his potential interests me. It's too early to list him above Morin though. - Mononoke
We should trade Myers for Drouin before he busts |

Meyers for the rights to Stamkos people here would be so happy |

I think Ghost is, at least, on par with Larkin and Panarin (at least in my mind), but I think McDavid pretty much has to get injured or kill a guy not to get the Calder. - johndewar
he hasn't done poop edmonton still sucks with him
without ghost we're not even in the playoff race talks |

I personally think out of the Flyers prospect Sandstrom has the best shot to be the starter in 5 years. Even better than Bob. - Glak18
I agree. Athletic freak in the crease. He'll be over in Europe for awhile yet, though. Supposedly his goalie coach is one of the best in the world. Since he will be the full starter soon (if he isn't already), it is pointless to bring him over early.
Now, Lindblom I'd like to see over. |

I don't want to wade into this Stamkos talk too much...my opinion is known or can be surmised. Others have said what I would've already.
But, the fact that Hextall went very hard after Drouin -- and still might -- tells me (if I didn't know already) the percentage of Hextall even seriously considering Stamkos is about 2%. It's the future all the way for Hexy. It has been shown that prospects and salary flexibility are what he's after. Stamkos doesn't fit either of those. |

Did you guys see Vinny's break away goal last night? Fastest I have seen him skate since coming to LA. He out skated two Canucks players and got one past - dprice818
awesome, glad you're happy. Can I interest you in a couple other players after the POs, just as good I swear, RJ or AMAC for a similar price can be all yours my fine sir. |

Hextall can always pick him up after a bitter buyout ends his Toronto captaincy |

I can't recall who said it previously (like maybe 1-2 weeks ago) but I don't think Gudas is remotely slow. he has done a very good job minus the week or two of brain fart hits. as much as I liked Coburn, that trade could end up being a fantastic deal. - nastyflyergirl
i didn't see that...but i agree with you. i don't think he's slow. he's really stepping up his game. |

Gudas is the (frank)ing man. I think Konecny will make it a deal that was more than worth it on his own. Gudas is just gravy on top. |

So I take it that the majority of flyers fans aren't pulling for him? |
