waiting until friday for the next game is going to be irritating.

We can debate why Getzlaf-able is on the Canadian World Cup roster while Giroux isn't? Getzlaf and his 10 goals. Getzlaf is bald, bald as a friggin wall. Not a hair on his (frank)ing head.

Their WoWY charts show they've played 2 minutes together at ES all season. He's played almost exclusively with Hall (LW) and mostly with Purcell (RW). He's also played 80 minutes with RNH...I think that's who you're confusing McDavid with. And yeah, Draisaitl did well with him, but there is literally no one that Draisaitl doesn't improve their stats when playing with. It's very impressive. RNH's possession stats crater away from Leon. Leon's don't. I looked at his QoC, and he faces one of the highest on the team too: most minutes against includes Getzlaf, Kopitar, Monahan, Toews. Some big boys.

I am pretty sure I am thinking entirely of the preseason before he got injured

Not sure, but I enjoy Giroux being snubbed bc he always responds greatly with his play.

Pretty food faceoff numbers for Drai, too, considering his age.

If Edmonton didn't Richard around with him last year, he might be one of the frontrunners for the Calder. It's truly amazing how the rise of McJesus has glossed over just how good Draisaitl has been. That is a two headed monster for the future.

He does. But he's earned his right to be on the team. Should have been on the 2014 Canadian Olympic team as well.

Oh yeah I agree , as well as the Olympic team snub. And I'm sure players around the league would agree that he deserves it too. Was it PK who commented on the Olympic snub saying he should be here with us?

I was thinking more a Hydra Dragon, but hey it's the oilers so your picture may be more fitting

Couturier is only on pace for 37 points this season.

I heard his license plate is 3C4LIFE.

He got 37 points last season. We just have to face it that he has plateaued.

so absurd. That's like half a loaf of bread, half a pack of eggs, and a full pack of turkey bacon. And that's one meal for his day

Pfft, not scoring points in games he didn't play in due to injury is just the kind of excuse I'd expect from the Couturier fanboys around here.

He has TWO PP points all season. And he's on pace for ~50 points in 82 games. That's just....ridiculous. That unit is so downright awful, it has nowhere else to go but up when Konecny and Provorov and company filter into it. Truthfully, Coots has been one of the few bright spots on that unit.

He has 19 points in his last 23 games too. Jake will look wonderful back on his wing when he returns.

It's only four slices of bread. And I'm sure some folks here eat bigger breakfasts than that. lol

I think it's more concerning that he refers to himself as big boy. lol

1. I don't really care about it too much. Frankly, I think it's lame.

2. I just feel bad for our Captain, Clode. He'd like to be on it, and Team Canada routinely slights him.

3. I just want to see Team North America poop on everyone

I'd love to see the PP goals per minute differential between the first and second units. It must be gigantic given the fact Read, Coots, Medvedev, Raffl, Gagner and MDZ have 10 PP points between them.
