I'd agree on White. I'm no VdV fan, but sadly, he's better than White (why is he on the PP, again). I'll gladly take Medvedev over Manning in a vacuum, but like someone said, there's just a different team dynamic with Manning.

for White, 40 of the 85 PIMs are fighting/game misconduct. Don't know how many of the 2s left Flyers SH.

I'd love to see the PP goals per minute differential between the first and second units. It must be gigantic given the fact Read, Coots, Medvedev, Raffl, Gagner and MDZ have 10 PP points between them.

Having a PP unit with AMac, Read, White, Manning, Raffl, Umberger, MDZ, etc. isn't exactly going to light the lamp. Streit will be added in a week. Laughton should be on it -- very confused why the player with maybe the best wrister on the team rides the pine during every single powerplay. I won't bother going into Medvedev. It's useless.

Things could be done to improve that unit though from a skill perspective right now. They just choose to not do so.

No anthems will be played during the tournament because of the existence of two multinational teams.

Kinda glad Tampa faces off against Boston tonight. It lets them get their pissed-off-big-next-game out of the way. And against a division rival who could leapfrog them in the standings with a win.

Elliotte Friedman specifically named the Flyers as being in on Drouin as recently as in his post-deadline article. He's reputable. And lord knows, with the Cone of Silence Hextall has installed in his office, information doesn't leak out easily. The only other team Friedman specifically mentioned was the Senators, and their GM pretty much flat out admitted he went after Drouin. Hexy don't play like that.

No thanks on Stamkos. Overrated for the money he'll get at ES and wouldn't even be able to utilize him on the PP because he and Giroux like to play in the same spot.

I don't mean to come off as if I'm picking on you but the PP will have to learn to adjust to change. Six years ago we had an entirely different roster and an effective PP. Creative Coaching will adapt to change.

In 2010, I remember Danny Briere, Jeff Carter and Scott Hartnell being an effective line both at even strength and the Power Play. Am I the only one who remembers Hartnell working the crease, while Briere and Carter cycle the left half wall? Does nobody remember Carter's shot from G's current spot (often wide) or a Briere wrap around from behind the net?

Nobody has scored more goals other then Ov since Stamkos has entered the league and fans want to pass on this because a current star on our current roster plays the same pisrion on the Power Play?
