Man if we played first periods like thirds we would be on the RIGHT side of a lot of our one goal games. Our effort in the third tonight was outstanding. I'm cheering for wins at all times now, but man that effort got me excited. It's been a treat seeing this team turn in up a bit in lieu of missing ROR. Finish strong and carry that mentality over to next year.

Totally love the effort from these kids.

I get the sense Girgensons is gone this offseason.

63 points through 67 games. Looks like they finish between 75 - 80 points.
Have dropped their goal differential significantly....still have a difficult time scoring.
Young ones developing nicely, team chemistry building.

All in all, it will be a successful season.
Hopefully, big improvements coming for on-ice personnel to put them over the playoff hurdle for next season.

They are an absolute disgrace to the league at this point. One would think upon the arrival of mcdavid they would have wanted to move out something of value up front to get help in areas of desperate need.

If they dont make at least one big trade this offseason they should be forced to forfeit their first round pick. At least make it look like youre trying to get better.
