I don't think so. Am I happy about the hit and his suspension no. Should he be smarter yes. But you're not going to ship Landy out just as he starts entering his prime and while on a great deal for us, you don't trade away core pieces, you don't win cups that way. Landy stays. |

Landeskog deserved the three game suspension. The hit was unacceptable.
While I am opposed to trading Landeskog, he takes some sloppy penalties at the most inopportune times or when a goal against would really hurt the team. As the Avs' captain, Landeskog should know better and his play should have reflected that.
No excuses for Landeskog. Glad the Ducks player wasn't seriously hurt. |
