Love it. Back checking like mothers. Everyone generally where their supposed to be. Neutral zone presence by the D. Mason was strong it sure seemed like tampa had more shots than what they put up. Mandog 10 blocked shots last night!
As far as Jake goes...I'd still prob sit gagner. I would not touch bellemares line.
I just worry about the energy level with the slew of games coming up. Their winning Bc they are working harder for it - Just5
So... Back on the wagon then? |

First line of Florida looks beastly. Hope Couturier has a monster defensive game. Huge 2 points but I can live with 1. |

You won't win the Cup, and you don't have a 1st, your window is almost closed.

I may not always agree with personnel moves (hell, what do I know?) but you have to give Hakstol major props for the job he has done this year. He has the Flyers playing hard game in and out and has them in the playoff race despite major holes in the lineup and missing guys like Giroux, Couturier, Voracek, Streit and MDZ for stretches. All teams have injuries but when teams have major holes in the lineup, injuries are that much harder to overcome. they may not make it but its so enjoyable watching true meaningful games in March this year. |

Gagner needs to stay in the lineup when Jake comes back in. Raffl should replace one of VDV or White on the 4th line.

VDV does a really good job on the PK which considering the PK has been just so so this year, i can't see him being the one to sit. I would keep Gagner in as well. Cousins has played well enough to stay in too. its going to be an interesting call |

do we need to go down this history route again, troll, a route in which you, the rangers fan base and your franchise lose badly? why are you here? nervous? because you know the rangers won't win again and have mortgaged everything in the process? nice pipeline ya' have there. i have rangers fans friends who despise the state of the team and the lack of a future. and they are right.
the flyers making the playoffs this year would be gravy for us. the truth of the matter is they are on a short path to being a contender for quite awhile. whether you recognize this fact or not is irrelevant. just like the rangers.
have a lovely saturday. |

i think he's done a solid job, especially considering the dead weight and injuries, not to mention that he's a rookie.
these final 20 games are a playoff run - i'm enjoying it. i just hope they don't have a situation like last year where they lose a game (bruins, late tying goal, lose in ot) and then go on a 4-5 game skid and fall off the map. i hope they give it a run to the end. if they get in, great. |

Plus, if you check VDV's CORSI stats, he leads the league in MEI (Missed Empty Nets). |
