he turned their season around. zero question about that. part of the reason i want them to make it is because i want him getting playoff experience right away. the more he gets, the better.

3 out of 4 in back to back in florida is a pretty good weekend. it sucks they blew 2 leads tonight.

i'm a big mason fan, and not putting this game on him at all. the coverage was horrendous on all the goals. the first line sucked again. that said, i would have loved to see neuvirth tonight.

gudas has been excellent of late. tonight was not his best. i'm more irritated with the weak stick check on the go ahead goal than the slide on the pk. a lot of players were guilty tonight in their own end. they were sloppy.

Believe someone does have to go. If so, Cousins seems likely. But he's played so well on the third line. I could see them switching Raffl to 3C. Keep Gagner with Coots and Jake. I don't think that would be a drop off...just unfair to Cousins. I feel like they hitched their wagon to Laughton. He could've been sent done so many times in prior months and hasn't. Now he's playing better at wing. He's an option, but I think Cousins goes down before him.

Someone does have to get sent down, I believe. Cousins and Laughton are only waiver exempts, right?

i'm anxious for next year. they will still be a ways off, but i want the dead wood gone, and youth to arrive.

3 pts out of 4 is a huge win for the Flyers. Just have to dominate the Pens down the stretch.
