Pens, as far as the current roster is concerned, is clearly the easier team to dislike. So the older folk (of which I'm sadly a part) dislike the Rangers franchise, something I never quite understood.

trust me, he is part of the bottom 6 that I feel needs upgrading for this team to be a contender (I'd like a 4th line that provides energy but can also be physical and chip in on the scoreboard) but as far as the team as is, he works hard and provides energy and good defensive play.

I may not always agree with personnel moves (hell, what do I know?) but you have to give Hakstol major props for the job he has done this year. He has the Flyers playing hard game in and out and has them in the playoff race despite major holes in the lineup and missing guys like Giroux, Couturier, Voracek, Streit and MDZ for stretches. All teams have injuries but when teams have major holes in the lineup, injuries are that much harder to overcome. they may not make it but its so enjoyable watching true meaningful games in March this year.

I predict that the Rangers will beat the Red Wings this afternoon but I also feel we're going to lose against Florida tonight.

your king has won nothing, and will win nothing as a ranger. it's a shame he's wasting his talent on the scrubs around him. they should do him a favor and trade him to a team where he has a chance to win.

i'd rather be where we are - with 2 excellent goalies and on the way up than where the rangers are. our first prospect is already making a huge impact. 2, 3, or 4 more of them will be arriving in the next few seasons and should help them as well. while your team is scraping the bottom of the barrel for free agents and whatever else they can find while the window is rapidly closing, and when it closes, without a cup, you will be left with nothing. again.
