im not stirring anything up. I said your not winning a cup with mason and I will take the last 5 ranger years to yours. You guys don't like it when somebody talks negatively about your team it's trolling so what I don't care not about you your dirty pathetic team or your fan base so suck it - Bobd62
Claims he doesn't care about the Flyers or their fanbase but continues to post in a blog for them. Hmm..
And interesting you choose to say 5 years and not 6 to include a Flyers Stanley Cup Final appearance in a year the Rangers didn't make the playoffs, courtesy of the Flyers. Have a nice day, sir. |

Not sure if you realize this or not, but the flyers have won the same number of cups as the Rangers in the past 5 years.
Zero.
So you can happily take your 5 years of poor asset management and 0 cups. We're just fine with the mini rebuild and planning for the future |

It's hard to admit but we want to be in the Rangers position today in terms of draft and development. - SuperSchennBros
I would certainly NOT want to jump from where we are today to where they are today. |

No that would be foolish your waiting for 3 or 4 years for your great prospect pool to develop. Good for you I'd rather go for it every year win or lose if we bottom out after Hank is gone with no cup at least we tried more than I can say for you and your deep prospect pool good luck with that. |

the flyers have been the epitome of going for it every year for decades. they've come awfully close many, many times and didn't win.
we now have a general manager who has an actual plan. he is executing the plan. they still may not win, but they will be competitive more often than not, and are doing it the right way. most of the fans are happy with this approach, and they should be.
we don't care what the rangers do.

let me say this one more time, and perhaps you'll understand. you came in here and called us knuckle draggers, and mocked the team about not winning, tee time etc. unsolicited.
this is the definition of a troll.
get it? understand?
now?
how about now?
you like your team. you don't like ours or us. we get it. nobody cares. - hammarby31

Look at this...it's hilariously bad. Their draft history is a poop show. The reason they WERE contenders (notice I said were) the last few years was mostly through trades. They came within a cup, sure, but in so doing, their window was very short and now their future very bleak. I don't want to be anything like the Rags. |

the flyers also tried to make it last year, they just fell short. Maybe he's confusing the Flyers and the Sabres? |

not going for it has never been the Flyers problem. Quite the opposite and they are in the position of rebuilding because of it. Teams like Chicago and LA are in the position they are today because of good drafting and developing and that is the model I hope to see the Flyers follow. Obviously teams need to hit on their prospects and only time will tell how well the Flyers hit but I rather be in their position now than not. In a salary cap era building through free agency and trades really isn't a good option. Do I blame teams for going all out? no of course not. but the fact is when it doesn't work you are left in a bad spot. |

Well maybe not as much as the Rangers go for it and yes they have made some terrible moves trying to win a cup while Hank is still good not denying that all I'm saying is I appreciate the organization going all in all the time. Yes some terrible decisions with draft picks and prospects but like I said before if it means being terrible for awhile so be it.if we don't win in the next two years we will be in a terrible spot.up against the cap. |
