I'm not sure what Tampa truly wants in return for Drouin, but I'm sure they'd listen to a Girgensons, Bailey offer. Besides, how would Girgensons contract, whatever it may be, end up being a huge contract?

For sure, look at the top teams in the league now. Since those two (23,48) left, Vanek and pommer are the only 'true' top 6 guys that this team had in a long time. Staff, roy and ennis are on the bubble.

Goalies are similar to running backs, a good team can make most look good.

I'd give them pysyk and girgens for drouin and throw in a few 3rds

He's been good and will only get better as the ankle grows stronger. I think we have checked that box.

Gus isn't playing more than any of those top 3.....so who really cares? Is him having an extra minute or two, and one of Larsson/Foligno/Gionta having a few less really going to matter.
