I've lived in Henderson(suburb which is basically the eastern half of the valley) for the past 10 years. Like any city, it is what you make of it. If you enjoy the outdoors, I couldn't imagine a better place, 9 months of great weather and any terrain, from desert, snow, mountains, ocean within 3 hrs drive.

If all you want to do is gamble, I imagine these days you can do that in any city.

There's also more interest in hockey than most think. They've already received 13,000 deposits from individuals for season tickets. Hellll, even amongst my small group of friends, 3 are rabid fans and 1 still plays in a local adult hockey league.

From what I've heard...players who haven't completed their 3rd year pro are exempt. So Reinhart and Eichel will absolutely be exempt...meaning we can protect 9 and 3. Or those two and 8 more.

my favorite hole in the wall is casino royale

subway in the back for cheap breakfast, never crowded so lots of slots that tend to pay better then the bigger casinos

$1 bottle beers, so I can go to the bar, grab 3 for $5 after the tip and carry on my way.
Then when I go to leave, give the bartender $5 more so I can have 3 for the walk down the strip


bonus is the sucker with the beer cooler selling the bottles on the street for $3, all bottles bought at that casino

If the draft is the summer of '17 and he has a year left you keep him or trade him before you just give him away. Accessing him to the expansion draft is idiot.

If they get Lindholm or another stud D, I don't go for Yandle and I try hard to sign Kane and protect him. Yandle will be 30-31 in 2017 Kane will be 26 and the team needs talented wingers. If he doesn't want to sign then trade him next season or next summer.

I guess I like Kane more than most people even though he doesn't finish as well I'd like. But he is the team's best forechecker, has speed, plays with grit, can make plays and does have 18 goals. It's not all about the numbers for me. He's a big top 6 winger.
