I just watched the video. You can see his elbow going up like he had just swung it.

The reason it needs to be addressed is to stop any future events... it was a Richard move, granted it wasn't hard enough to hurt anyone but that's not the point, you don't mess with our young guys...period! If you do expect a response.

we are going to enjoy watching these guys mature that is for sure...

head was clearly hit....but it wasn't an elbow. elbow came up way after contact had already been made (which pretty much always happens when you deliver a hit). like i said, at the time was a clean hit, now it's an easy suspension.

Maybe not a true #1, but they'd have to at least get something like one of those guys + if they're dealing Hall

All I'm saying is most often, the return is underwhelming in terms of a star or possible future star coming back for a quality player like Hall. It's more of a volume return in hopes of a collective quality quite often.

Not sure what's worse .......... being a fan of a team like the Senators and watching them piss the season away at a slow drip or the Sabres who start playing like it matters long after it really did.

Might be high on the assist projection if he ends up a 3rd liner though. In that case, he might average something like 17-23-40

Really good, and underrated IMO
