Well, if the plan truly is Stamkos than it changes the parameters on this discussion on how we move forward this offseason. Landing Stamkos I would probably trade the 2016 pick. We would not have the cap space in a few years anyways to keep all these young talented players when they want to get paid.

The flaw there is that fans don't make trades . I bet they over value their players just like we do.

This is so true. If anaheim fans had their way it would be our first, ristolainen, and reinhart. Its impossible to know without being in the room. Id be willing to bet if both fan bases hate it, youre on the right track. Bob murray supposedly likes ennis (one things for sure, anaheims fans certainly dont), my guess is a healthy ennis would be part of a deal, and tim murray would be taking back a bad contract to offset the 4.6 going the other way. I can see our first, ennis, and a prospect for lindholm and a dump. It helps both teams and nobody is happy.

If Lindholm is the top pairing guy that so many think he is, than our first, Ennis, and a prospect would be a deal that I would do. If we land Stamkos our offense greatly improves this offseason too.
