Nope. I got 4 hours ban for telling him to take a hike. Yet my post gets deleted and banned and his stays up and he keeps commenting. Great work refs! - Iggysbff

Heard PC is gonna want Matthews to play defense when we pick him 1st overall and next years 1st overall center can be his defensive partner! I`m some glad we got PC instead of some dope like Shanahan, PC will build us a team in 6 or 7 years - cdjaakkola

Can you worthless mods worry a little bit more about this crap in here and a little less about banning all of our posters that abide by the Coc. For (frank) sakes this place is a (frank)ing joke. Moron after moron comes in the Oilers threads to troll because there's no consequences for it. The only thing that happens is we get banned when we get frustrated and deal with it ourselves. However when the shoe is on the foot and we go to other threads to actually talk hockey, we are given lengthy bans for simply disagreeing with the personal views of said butthurt mods. Do your (frank)ing jobs and quit letting your personal feelings and the tiny bit of power you have go to your heads and do unbiased banning for once. You are ruining the site. - Ihatebrianburke
This post isn't exactly abiding by the CoC, and people who get banned need to realize they are accountable for what and how they say it.
As much as some troll posts are annoying, why do you feel it is the refs jobs to prevent you from taking the bait, and responding to the same tired and overused jabs at the Oilers, using responses that you know might get you a ban? Why do some people feel entitled or obligated to have to battle a "troll"? There is a difference between lame jokes about a hockey team, and being downright ignorant and offensive.
It's true some refs could benefit from perhaps more of a sense of humor, but I can honestly say I have maybe been banned 2-3% of the time for what was probably unjust, perhaps bias on the part of the ref, and the other 97% of the time I brought it on myself, went too far, or simply just pushed the envelope once too often. In the 5+ years I have been posting here, I have gotten away with far more posts that should have earned me a ban, than ones I have actually been banned for.
At the end of the day if you run your mouth on HB and get a ban, is that really such a bad thing? And if people trolling the Oilers gets a person so upset, then why keep coming back and reading them over and over again? Seems somewhat like self masochism. |

I got banned for criticizing Bo Horvat in a hockey discussion by that tool (no pun intended) Makita. - ReveenV2
Oh I get it, like because of the power tools of the same name.
Are you suggesting that there should be some sort of I.A.B. of hockey buzz? Some police, to police the police? Also what are your thoughts on the Police? The one that Sting used to be in? |

Trolling is against the coc, so if they choose to only ban the response, then it's bias or unjust. It isn't a big deal to get banned, but the point stands |
