Clearly, being a healthy scratch/#6 defenseman in the playoffs on a Stanley Cup winning team means that you are infinitely better than everyone who has never won a Stanley Cup.

The Flyers have had an up and down season with most of the down bits occurring in the earlier portion of the season. Their road record needs to be better moving forward if they're to have a shot at landing a WC spot.

Several players throughout the season have stepped up for the Flyers. At the beginning of the season it was the Flyers 4th unit which looked really great. Then Neuvirth came in hot as lava debuting his 1st couple of starts as shutouts. Next it was the injection of Shayne Gostisbehere who ultimately transformed the back end and upgraded the 1st unit PP with one of the best threats from the blue line. Jake was flying a bit recently before his injury and we all know how effective Schenn has been since the new year. Secondary scoring from uncanny sources like Gudas and White have helped inject a welcome level of depth to the Flyers squad but in this last stretch drive I agree the Flyers are going to need Giroux to really step his game up.

Alexander Ovechkin sucks.

Yep. I have one. I also have a real life on weekends and don't pay attention to HB, tweets, or any other social media. Saturday's game was in the afternoon and I refuse to halt my life on a nice spring afternoon to watch, plus it wasn't on a channel that I get. lol Afternoon games are the worst. I didn't even know they lost until my nephew told me the next day. Frank afternoon games.
