He's been the third-pairing defender he's always been since his recall; no better, no worse. He's helped to the degree he can. Some nights are better than others, some worse

I don't notice him too much, tbh. It's not like Wheels and Umberger, where you could see they were pretty much done like dinner

I agree w/ your other post. Replacement level third pair guy capable of making some skilled plays now and again, eat some minutes, play PK. Only think I'd say, is that his disgustingly bad NZ play always stands out to me each and every game. Other than that he's been...*shrugs*

Yeah. It's been moderately better, but it's still bad. But he's what we have, and Hakstol's done what he could with it.
