the Dark Knight movies are three of the most overrated releases I can think of tbh - BulliesPhan87
I think they are one of the greatest showcases of how much deeper you can make a character's voice and how much more dark and bitter to the world you can make a character seem.
Why didn't Gandolf just get the Eagles to fly them over Mt. Doom and drop the ring in? These questions will plague us for eternity. - MBFlyerfan
The Eagles also dropped Thorin and the crew off on a high plateau with the Lonely mountain in site. Couldn't they spend an extra 10 minutes and drop them off at the entrance? FML!

Well, this is a valid point. However, Mandos knew that Bilbo needed to find the ring, and probably told Manwe that it was a good spot to drop them. Plus they needed to give Thorin CPR ASAP.

The second one was the best if only because of Heath Ledger. His performance brings it to a whole other level. The other two are just OK, with the third one being one of the cheesiest films I've ever seen.

Yeah, the third one wasn't as great. But I did like Batman Begins, it was cool with explaining how/why Batman decided to be Batman for those of us how didn't grow up reading comics and watching anime porn.

Ahh yes. However, the Eagles could have circled while CPR was given. Dwarves get no respect...if it were the elves though....pfft. The origin of racism.

they're all stuffed with boring, unnecessary scenes everybody forgets about. They're not awful, but boy do they drag at times. The first one had some bad shaky cam too, truly an unforgivable offense.

You could tell how unrealistic the third one was the second Hines Ward was allowed to run a kick back for a TD.

That was a good time for an origin story, but I'll tell you what: after a million zillion reboots of every comic book character, I wish they'd trust us to know some characters without a boring lopsided origin movie. I like that Spider Man pops up in Civil War with seemingly no explanation. We all know who spidey is, let's get on with it.
