The best was Hamonic and Cal we will get the Caps next time. - ses111
That game and what was said after is a perfect depiction of what this team is. A bunch of vaginas. "If they want to play that way well we can also." Funny thing is they did nothing to follow up those comments every, single, (frank)ing time they made them. That's what makes them pu$$ies. All talk |

THE key words "Culture of Losing" - the Isles have morphed into the NFL "same old Jets" SURE every 10 years a few picks grow up and a few trades get the team to contend/pretend. BUT just like the Jets/ Kiser Sousa / in a flash (POOF). There gone. THIS MNGT is too full of itself to "lose a trade" even if it improves the team. The smug Snow on his (my guys are better than what was offered/available) is afraid that a prospect whom he'll never let play in the NHL isn't worth trading for a scoring experienced winger. Oh and he needs his picks to trade for more picks. HE KNOWS BETTER THAN ALL OF NHL/ all of us. Accept it |

That shoulda been done 3 months ago......I love how Clutterbuck is scoring GWGs and guys on here were calling him a 4th liner. I was being lambasted for suggesting he try the spot with JT, as he's got a helluva shot and isnt afraid to use it. - kindlyrick
i'm totally down with putting Cal with JT, they did play in junior which i find odd they really don't try it much on isles. He has a deadly shot and wouldn't waste anytime getting it off. Anything to get JT going, i have a fantasy league to win lol |

Yeah ok. Id be ashamed to cheer for that team of (frank)ing pansies and cry babies. I would say at least you're man enough to admit it but youre a pens fan so there's no way youre male. |

Hey I hate Crosby with a passion but the rest of the team is awesome. I of course always cheer for the ISlanders but if the Penguins are there after the Islanders get bounced in the first round Yeah I cheer for them |

He also doesn’t pass the puck. You don’t play JT with a guy who can’t get the puck to him and while clutterbuck has a great shot, he will waste many opportunities by taking an unscreened wrist shot from the point. I don’t see a good fit with JT. |

That’s why I would put him there, somebody needs to be selfish and get pucks on net. Considering JT has played with everyone this year not named Cal or Matty Marts, it can’t hurt lol |

It probably won’t be worse, but I’m not sure it would be any better. I’d rather keep the 4th line together because when they are we usually have at least one line that looks dangerous, when they get split up we often don’t even have that. |

Ya, with the way the top 9 have been playing, we should just give the 4th line 18 minutes a game lol On the positive side, i'd rather flop a bit right now then go out in 4 straight in the 1st round.
I get that JT wants to be a playmaker primarily, but ive never understood why we don't set up our pp like TB does/did for Stamkos or we did for Yashin. They should be lobbing him 1 timers from the side boards.

Yeah cause JT is a proven finisher! lol! if he is more than 5 feet outside the painted crease he probably is not scoring because you don't see many trash goals from that range. I forgot I think I recall you stating you would rather have JT over Stammer. I do not see 1 quality where JT is a better choice. JT is a nice compliment for a team that has a stud already. He will never carry a team. He lacks every skill needed to do so. Great hands though. |
