Yup. He had told the team mid season that he would be returning and now foregoing. Pretty clear he got paid and will be in Buffalo to end the year

Is nelson getting NHL time like Fasching or off to Roch? Either way if he's any good it gives you a bit of a log jam at RHD. I dont want pysyk gone but pretty clear the coaching staff doesnt hold him in the highest regard.

I don't want to move pysyk either but if we see this as building the prospect pool or does Nelson push for a job next year? It does create a future log jam with guhle and possibly borgen and Martin in that pipeline.

Certainly possible (though Im hoping he's better than ruhwedel). I was thinking more if he's really good, like nhl regular good, it might make it easier for them to include pysyk in a package deal.

In 2014 Eichel played with Hartman and Matteau, I believe. They were on the same team multiple times which is good.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I REALLY like how Foligno has played the last 20 games or so. Love to see what he could do on the 2LW instead of Girgensons with Eichel and Reinhart.

He wouldnt have signed with BUF w/o a promise of playing with the big club - a la Rhudy a couple of years ago. Franson is prob done for the season so they can I.R. him
