Next year they do. If he only wants an extension fine, but if he wants to restructure this year, well, he's poop out of luck. He signed the (frank)ing contract. Fulfill it, but that's not the NFL way, so c'est la vie I suppose...

He's good and bad. Good is he outskated the CAR guy to negate icing on the gwg. Bad is his positioning in the d-zone. He was horrible tonight - let the guy to on the 1st goal and almost caused a 2nd goal a shift later when be again lost containment innthe d-zone. No Hockey sense?? As good as Risto is, he has the same positioning prob once or twice a game

Oh trust me i am all for signing him as i look at our roster i don't see any (current) 35-45 goal scorers and he would be a huge veteran presence to our young guys who has dealt with being a star... BUT

Seeing as though the only thing that matters on this board ever are G,A, GAA, S%

he's been 3 years removed from a 60 goal season that being his peak potential, he has no place on this team.
