This is also one of the major points Pens fans brought over to this board when we hired him….he favors veterans, which in my opinion is synonymous with "experience"

Garth threads are a poop show. If posts aren't on topic - you know, hockey and all - or do nothing other than bring in more trolls, they won't stay.

im not even trying to make fun of his spelling or his stupid rhyming, etc.
He just sucks. He makes the site look bad.
As a mod, do you get any insight in to why he's here?

Im sure the mods have talked about it though, and im sure you have probably discussed it with EK.... what blackmail does he have?

It appears people have missed my previous posts where i've stated I WANT Stamkos... but my point is that if you want to rid yourself of one player that is playing a different line in a different role without the players he played and had success with last year but take on a player that hasn't had those changes and yet is still in what i would call the 3rd year of not hitting his potential peak doesn't that make you wonder?

Watch Girgenson on CAR first goal and 3 minutes later on his next shift. He, for whatever reason, has no defensive zone awareness. As for Stamkos, the reason his scoring is "down," and I'll take 40 goals every season is his linemates aren't as good and his playing time/game is down. He's the type of player who will sustain, due to his speed (look at St. Louis). The guys who lose it (Moulsen, Nash, Vanek) are the slower guys who skills erode and they have nothing to fall back on (speed).

It just amazes me with people on this blog, we have a chance to get a premier player in this league and because they claim his scoring is down, they don't want him or are finding every way not to sign him. But let's keep defending Grirgensons

Gionta is a good forechecker and is good on the PK, but, he should never, ever be on the PP or on 3 on 3. Pysyk too - why in the world is he getting PP time?
