I'm with you on that. I guess I was just outlining the basis... you know if it was plus 2 2nds or said prospect or whatever then that'd be added but I was just saying I see them in a deal that would bring us back those players.

Well, I'm willing to be talked out of it, but here's my question.

If a 20 goal guy (who get assists along the way too - so maybe 30 points?) is only worth $4M, maybe, why is a 40 goal 80 point guy worth $12? Doesn't the math say 80 points is $10 if 30 is worth $4?

Imagine this city buzzing after that kind of superstar acquisition. Imagine the other players and coaches around the league after hearing that Stamkos has bought in to Buffalo and their direction.

Imagine the guys that would want to come and play here or get traded here at deadlines.

I think that we could easily shuffle ROR and Stamkos between 1C in order to keep Eichel at 2C. I really don't want to move Eichel to the wing but look at how well Reinhart has done with the change and they were still able to move him back to Center when ROR went down.

Right because the defence is brutal. Unless they're in a position to rip off another team they'd be wise to move that pick for a d-man or at the very least draft one.

But for his future development I think he's better off playing 50 games in Rochester next year instead of 20ish here

Agree with most except I would plug in Franson as worst defenseman, only because Carlo didn't play much this year and became an unknown for the 20+ games he was scratched.

I also don't think there is an unknown with Ennis as we all know what he can do. I would agree with Sugar Ray though. Can he stay away from injuries and truly become a #1? I tend to think our future #1 is still in college.

Agreed.

I would bring Ocho Cinco back on a 1 year $1.75 million deal. He has been good for us this year.

Ullmark isn't ready yet. He still over commits its pretty evident even in Rochester. He needs one more year of playing a ton of games.
