We know this. From there is a crap shoot really. We don't know who is picking where because of the lottery/standings being tight. However...If you're at 7 or after, doesn't it really just come down to which of the four are left between tchachuk Chychrun Joelevi or nylander...?...I'd say that's an easy pick because it's made for you. Get over yourself . Remember I was a Myers fan and railed against him being traded. If it was something that was bothering him for years . It might have been involved in Murray's decision making process . GM's do have access to all your medical reports . Just quit being such a richard. Did anyone badmouth him? I offered an opinion on the GM's thought process. And a hip condition with a 6 foot 8 inch hockey player can be a concern.

Do you know if NHL players have to pass a physical after they are traded? I honestly do not know, so I was just wondering. Because it could be something that a GM knows about in deciding on trading a player.

I know in the NFL if a player fails his physical after a trade, the trade is reversed.


Edit: I think I remember Hard Hat ragging on Murray for taking the Winnipeg's GM word about Kane's shoulder being OK.

Could have been well enough a pass a physical with a chronic condition . I believe NHL players do have to pass a physical . No one called the Trade a savvy move. Just stated it could have been something in the back of Murray's head .

Murray said he had our Doctors totally review Kanes shoulder and surgery and felt confident in a full recovery after the trade.

I don't know if they do to be honest. I would imagine injury related info has to be disclosed.

I doubt they could just trade a player and tell the other team the vague "Upper body injury" that they have to tell the media

Either way, as you know, tons of athletes have offseason surgeries every year. If the Jets were in a better spot, he'd be playing.

It says right in the article the article in order to start next season he has to have the knee surgery and rehab it before he has the hip surgery which takes months to heal. So I doubt very much he'd be playing right now.

The article said it had been bothering him for years. Murray had Buffalo doctors go over Kane before the Trade was made. As it was public knowledge. Tyler's hip condition was not. Murray had to know about it if it was bothering him for years . All that I stated was it might have been a factor in Murray's decision process . The only one that knows that for sure is Tim Murray.
