The same idiots in here that think he is worth 4-5 million a year and is our future captain. When abdelkader signed at 4.5 for 7 years people were flipping out saying "how much is zemgus worth now!". Most u knowledgable fans over rate our players tremendously.

I give him one more year to figure his crap out or leave town.

The problem here is that A. He's an RFA and I think his idea of his value and my idea of his value are probably very different. And problem two, if he has another down year his trade value will drop to Cody Hodgson levels.. Right now sure you risk him turning it around and being a productive player but you also risk him losing any trade value he may have right now if he has another down year... Tough call for Murray.

I'd offer him a two year deal at 2 million a year. Which is still an over payment in my mind.

Staal can play LW. Ive wanted to see Kane on his off wing for quite a while now. Its not perfect and it certainly isnt my first choice but its a low risk short term move that could pay off.
