Why don't the Leafs and Nashville trade the rights to each of their unsigned college players, Cammerinisi and Vesey? Maybe the Leafs have to throw them another small bone in their, perhaps a player they are not going to resign or even a late round pick. With all their draft picks, the number of contracts becomes a big issue.

Ok this may be a dumb question but if Nashville is trying to sign Vesey to an ELC and they have until Aug. 15th to do so, that means that Vesey is still property of Nashville. So can they trade him or his rights or does he have to be under a pro contract for this to be an option?

If Vesey is looking for a top 6 spot guaranteed, I dont see the leafs as the fit...he should have to earn a spot like any of the other 10 prospects.. maybe just me but I dont see him as a great prospect..at least not better than several the leafs have already

I think the Leafs management will move out some contracts like Lupul, Holland and maybe some others to create some space. I think considering how young the team is, there are not too many locks on the roster.

I have to agree about the hype. I would like to see what he does to compete for a spot against the likes of Brown, Soshnikov, Hyman and Smith.
