If Leafs get 8 points, they'll pass more then the Oilers and Canucks. Columbus and Calgary, also fall into that category. So instead of 4th, it'll possibly be 8th. Forget that sh!t! I didn't waste a whole season to see us get a middling pick for my wasted time supporting this team.

One other thing. We'll have played 8 games in 12 nights, when it's over. How is this going to affect the players being sent down to the Marlies and how they'll perform in their playoffs? This stretch could wear down the likes of Nylander, Carick, Hyman, Brown....etc?

i was just saying in regards to if the oilers get 72 points, thats what leafs would have to do to get ahead of them, which is unlikely. i think they will finish with 70 or 71 points. 5 or 6 points in the last 7 games. 2-3-2, 2-4-1. puts them in a spot where they cant catch Calgary and Winnipeg and Cbus would only need 1 or 2 points to be out of reach and Van and Oilers 3 or 4.

I am so on the fence with this one. Matters not to me. I think they are on such a good path to long term success, they should keep going with the " Build from within "

Don't want Stamkos. Too much money for too long of a contract. It'll be Phil, all over again. Marty St. Louis made him a star. Since St. Louis left for New York, Stamkos' numbers have dropped. I can't see paying this guy $10 million X 7. Especially when we're at least 4 years away from actually being considered a contender.
