There's no harm in signing him and sending him for some fun and sun in Orlando. If he pans out, he pans out. If he turns into a solid AHLer, then so be it. If he sucks, his contract is up in 2 years.
In general, Finnish goalie development is pretty good, so let's just sit back and see what happens. |

Why? It's based on the regular season now. So unless they win the Stanley Cup nothing they do in the playoffs will hurt the draft pick. At least that's how I understand it. |

Did this change in 2016 because I have just read two references that say the playoffs (combined with regular season standings) determine the draft picks 15-30?
