Pretty sure it's still the same as last year and how I said. That the final four get 27-30.

That rule wording is the same has last year and that's how it happened.

I think the confusion is: "The Clubs which had been ranked first in their Divisions during the next preceding season"

In the context of the rule the preceding season is clearly shown to be the regular season, so the next preceding season has to be the playoffs. So, it's the division winners of the playoffs.
