If you paid attention he played well all year. Early on he(and many other members of the team) were ridiculously snake bit when it came to scoring.

The yotes would be dumb to move OEL for number 1, let along OEL and their 1st for the number 1,

He's right there w Jack & Sam IMO

I'll figure out another way to get a defenseman
There's teams like Anaheim that won't be able to protect all their good young defensemen, so they'll have to trade 1 or 2
Then there's teams that are really up against the Cap over the next couple years that we should be able to take advantage of

I think the general consensus is that oel is worth more than the first overall. Maloney did say he wont move him, but he pretty much has to say that. If they did move him, it would be whoever has the matthews pick that would be adding. It doesnt make much sense organizationally for them, they have decent young centers/forwards but they have nothing on d. Anaheim is a maybe, but they have much better depth but nobody with oels talent. Id keep the pick.

Should have stated AFTER 2 more years.

I love sitting Row 12 and seeing Eichel do his thing on the ice. There is some things you cant see watching on TV. The 2nd COR goal, Eichel wanted to set him up the first cycle and he was a little out of position. Jack fed it out to the point to start the rotation and literally told COR exactly where to stand as it came back around BOOM! Goal. I knew it was coming and got it recorded on my phone. His on ice leadership for a 19 year old kid is amazing, COR isn't an all-star but has been around a long time and for Jack to just command this team is amazing to see.

Plus i love hearing the TOR fans drool over him every time he touched the puck..


Oh and Kadri is such a Punk. Broke his stick on the ice, tried to a 2nd time and failed, yelled (frank) a few too many times and of course was diving all over. I wish Foligno wouldnt of beat him down but of course Kadri backed out. Man i hate him.

Takeaways from the game:

Kadri is the new owner of the biggest female dog crown

Sam is kinda smart

Most impressive thing about Fasching is his positioning. He's had only a few games and a few practices but his linemates know where he is on the ice because he does the cycle well. He's in good position and it keeps the puck in the zone.
