Tanking and the rebuild.
I side with Booner. It began two years ago with Bo then JV Hutton Markstrom Baertschi Tryamkin and maybe JM
This year we wii add a top 5.
Other ways to complete the rebuild , promotion like Gaunce.
Trade. I expect one significant one but not huge
UFA. I do expect them to replace Burrows and Hamhuis. - VANTEL
My thoughts also. Idk about Burrows though. He could be the 13/14th forward.

Lol no but in years past I feel like it was alot of friendly banter /insults.. But as of late with the injection of some new posters there's just full out wars lol... Not sure if it has to do with how bad we are and upcoming draft position or were just all just synced up on our man cycles lol... |

Before my days playing with Harry & Bobby i had the good fortune to meet Ali who trained in my gym for the Chuvalo fight & later on my bud & I worked the '72 Canada/Russia game here in Vancouver. At the time those both were amazing experiences but actually being involved with those 2 Gents on the field was a lifetime experience i cherish most. - Nighthawk
Far out.
My best sports story is playing road hockey against Scott Neidermeyer and Corey Hirsch when they were on the Kamloops Blazers...they let me score.
You win. |

Target some RFA's for trade from cap strapped teams too: Shaw would good BUrrows replacement, Krieder, Smith-Pelley, GUdas, ... I'm sure the list goes

You can pick up a UFA 3 Rd liner for money . No parts have to go back . Unless you are talking Grenier. |

Etem has shown up at camp a couple of times overweight I think I remember hearing.
Etem is not afraid to go to the net hard and I admire that but I hate the path he takes to get there. He reminds me of Raymond in how he always tries to squeeze past the D on the boards and almost always ends up too deep with no one to pass to. He has enough size and speed to stay off the boards but it's his go to move it appears. Maybe slow it down even so he has more options. Looks like a career long habit much like Raymond though.
Another observation I made is he is really inefficient as a skater. He has speed, don't get me wrong but he is dying out there by the end of his shift. I think it's because of his sloppy skating as he accelerates to his top speed. He burns off his fuel in 20 strides...
I think he is a decent fit for our bottom 6 right now. I dont see him as top 6 at all. Short gritty shifts and net presence. He cant run with the hounds and produce though. - boonerbuck
How exactly do you NOT burn off fuel by accelerating? Is there some other more efficient way to do this? Cus i've been playing hockey for 25 years now and as far as I know - the consequences of skating/accelerating to ANY speed - are that it burns off fuel...
btw, I can't stand stand Etem - he's one of the worst finishers I've ever seen so I'm not sticking up for him - BUT at the end of a shift you should be dying - no matter what shape you're in |

Holy (frank), first pushing Wingels savagely into the boards and now kicking puppies...what's next mugging little old ladies - Makita
Wingels is an incredible artist. So convincing it leaves refs mesmerized. Look at this previous incident:

He makes Daniel Sedin look like the most powerful being on earth.

That's true, but you go to the RFA's for the pieces you can't get In UFA, they usually are younger. Most the guys I mentioned are 23-26 and there aren't many UFA's in that range unfortunately. I think some of those guys would be worth a pick or McCann. |

Krieder is a F-Ing beauty!! GOOD CALL - ShAw's pretty tight too - Smith Pelly is DOGSH&*T tho - watched him a lot in Montreal the last couple years, he belongs in the BHL - aka THE BUSH LEAGUE
I'll throw a few names at cha - lemme know what you think about - Pirri, Zucker or Chiasson....... |

What kind of reply is that? First, I never suggested you can accelerate without burning off fuel. I also never suggested players shouldnt be winded at the end of their shift... I am saying he burns out before his shift is over on his solo effort. It was clear what I was saying regarding that.
He has had conditioning issues in the past. Another clue to the conversation you cant follow for some reason. 25 years of hockey and you are completely lost on a hockey conversation?

Shaw might be 'getable' if the Hawks win the cup again.
Kreider is a pipedream.
Smith Pelley and Gudas are plugs.
