The only time I had a chance to meet him was at the 08/09 preseason game at the Spectrum. He was in the parking lot in one of those bright orange blazers that all the alumni were wearing just smiling and shaking hands with people, just being one of the regular guys. I was too awe-struck to say hi, I still regret it.

He's the best sports franchise owner this city has ever seen by a long shot. He's done a lot for the city and area beyond Flyers hockey.

I like to make a joke from time to time about the number of times he's been married, but really, the guy is a legend and we are lucky to have him as hockey (and sports) fans.

Well, I stood up, bent over to flush, and had to stand straight back up due to the fumes. I flushed, and it didn't clog, but it was a hefty 2-flusher. They seem to have removed the air freshener sprays, so the next person in there would be wise to bury their face.

I am never eating pizza there again. When you poop, it's not supposed to sound like you're peeing.

I like the Philadelphia Flyers.

I'm sure some team will offer him multiple years at ~3. He's done a nice job of working on his overall game and he seems like a good guy, but he was never going to be more than a one and done. He's replaceable within the organization and he will want security Hexy aint providing.

He's what 3M this year? I doubt he goes down that low. 2-2.5 I'm game. Donald Audette reincarnated. I think he'll surprise folks in the playoffs too (assuming the Flyers make it).
