I've always liked the idea, but North American sports structure just wont allow it. Winnipeg was barely allowed an NHL team because of how many seats their arena holds, so those small market teams that win up will need to facilities. Though I wonder with all the expansion talk and potential markets listed whether it could be done in say 20 years when they are looking to award their 40th league franchise to Mexico City

We skated much better last night. Having Hansen 100% makes a huge difference for us. Always notice him every game with his energy & hard work. The guy is golden & a true veteran leader. He is a keeper but if traded & idk if thats wise he should fetch top value prolly a 1st at keast or no point moving him.

Well i predicted we go 2-5 when 7 games were left.
Wins were over SJ & Edm. 1 down & 1 to go 😂😂

Its crazy so many ppl r so stats oriented eg Bo.
I rather look at his skill set & work ethic & character where he gets high marks from me. For such a young player i like his moxy & see him adding more & more to his game like the Sedins did & do. With so many young players they all r different in their own way & i can see some nice surprises next season. Once our D is stabilized our overall team play will show more consistency hopefully. Thats what young teams strive for & explains much why we r where we r & the same for other teams. Teams such as Buffalo & Edmonton r searching for D & consistency but we have the vets to help our kids. Up to the kids to mature & put in a hard offseason to hone their game.

+22 up here in the sunny Cariboo. I already had my sunburn with raccoon eyes before April.

I normally would rationalize first and remember that this type of hearing is typically 5 games plus.... but the NHL is pretty crooked when it comes to suspensions so nothing would surprise me.

This is starting to sound like the argument of Kassian and Coho. In the end neither mattered. One is a cokehead and on his 4th team and the other is waived by 2 teams already and is not out of the league.
My point who cares right now. This is too small a sample size for either team. Wait for 5 years and then compare.
Also Canucks management knew that Shink was going nowhere with Canucks, so they turned an asset of no value to 1 with potential value. If it works then home run, if it does not then it is same as having Shink washed out of the system.

Bo's stats would be a lot more polished if the Sutter injuries didnt hurdle him into a top 6 role. So that should accompany his work ethic and character next season.
