I kinda zoned in on McCann last night, his confidence with the puck was better last night, I liked that. He usually tries to get rid of it soon after he gets it, some growth in his game, finally!

The team played well last night, I'm sure that win felt good for them!

- LeftCoaster

Still think he needs a year or two down South

This is true Utica will be very crowded next year , apparently Hutton has minus 21 , same with Bartowksi and Vrbata -17.

You are right Marwood .

It's not just Lefty & Scoob who are right all the time.

Problem is hamhuis is a shutdown guy. He gets no points.
- thundachunk

Tanev, Tryamkin Edler Sbisa all do that too?

Yeah, I was also keeping an eye on McCann, he did play with a lot more confidence, still needs to work on that physical side of his game, pushed off the puck to easily.

Back to back wins where it was a team win, in both games, not just the Sedins.

I agree, a year in the AHL would do him some good, he's still really young.

The thing that impresses me about the last two games , is the size. We don't get bullied. Tryamkin takes some of the pressure off Tanev becoming the main focus on D off the other team. Pedan is also a very cheap $ detourant. He can fill in as a forward or D for the bigger teams.

Gaunce and Bo add size and are forming out to be nice players. Add Baertschi to that mix for young scoring.

We have speed aside from the old guys ( hopefully a few of them are playing their final games) . We have size and the skill is progressing.

A healthy Canucks will be competitive next year.

As much as I want a first round pick for Hansen , he makes it compelling to say no thanks. He does change the look of the team. It would need to be a huge deal.

They do seem tougher to play against, Tryamkin doesn't even look like he's really laying anybody out, but it looks like some guys have a hard to getting up after being bumped by him.

I think the canucks biggest nemesis is injuries, who got injured last night Higgins and ?

All in all glad to see they had push back on the ducks, solid win.

Hamhuis has been a good team guy but I think it is time to say goodbye. If you could move Sbisa then maybe. If I had to chose between Edler or Hamhuis I think I would have to chose keep Edler.

Our D as a whole stinks and you have to start making changes. You can't put together a group that can't put up points. You need some scoring from the back end and that is why you need to start the change

I know teams play different when they are eliminated but Ducks and Sharks were putting out their A game fighting for top spot. Bring on the Kings

That's what I am getting at as well. In the NHL your D needs to put up points.

Whatever happens half the people will freak out and desperately try an assign blame. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Should be a number of pissy people today after 2 wins in a row.

If Fabbro was available at 18-20 would you still not trade hansen for that pick?

Another great effort, Bo looks good! In some ways this season might end on a high note: Bo putting his game back together, Markstrom playing well, some solid full-60 minute efforts. Silver linings!

Aside from the fact that I am not a Fabbro fan , no I wouldn't . The difference between the roster with Hansen in and out is night and day. It would need to be a delay that would knock my socks off.

I think we will be drafting around 7-8 and pick up Sergachev's to fit in with our other Russians.

A player like Fabbro is not a game changer IMO and a player like him will be available in next years draft also at the spot where we should be drafting.

I agree . He is much more valuable to our roster but another team wouldn't view him that high.

Worst case he's a good piece at the TDL. Unlike Vrbata he's still contributing if he's not scoring. But I've got no problem holding on to him. I'd spend some cash on a Hansen jersey.
