Yea you guys are probably right. He'll probably fetch a 5th rounder at the draft. You guys are just to smart for me - Bigalow
Are you smart enough to realize your not getting Stamkos in the trade, your getting a shot to maybe sign him, would you be fine calgary giving up a first and prospect to talk to him? No why would any other Gm |

2 wins & LA up next on the schedule has shown our moxy very well.
Tanknation must be cringing ๐๐
All the bandwagoners can eat it idc.
With all the injuries too many ppl r the doom & gloom types.
Hansen is golden & I too change my mind he stays.

Im gunna be honest, i know alot of people on here disagree, but if we miss out on Matthews, I hope Benning goes after Stamkos, we need that elite center and by the time Hank is slowed right down i cant see Bo ready to take the torch - phyllee
I've said go for hard for Stamkos many times here.
All those ppl saying we r not winning a cup soon etc keep on wanting a loser when true stars r rarely on the open market. Its a no brainer to go for him i agree๐ |

Indeed they would. The team lets say Toronto would ask for permission to talk to stamkos and his agent and see what kind of deal they could get done before the trade happens. So instead you get him for 9-10 instead of 12 because your trying to out bid other teams. - Bigalow
Your crackers....
Stamkos will sign where he likes or can. Trading for his rights means nada.
Now buzz off to your thread & dribble away your nonsense. |

I don't think any one here suggested he was going to Calgary. |

I am on the side of Tank Nation but it doesn't really matter. It would be nice to get the top 5 pick but if we slip 3 spots it will not really ,matter.
Our fate comes down to the luck of lottery balls. The top three picks are mapped out , but I think if we land 4-8 Sergachev will be available and that's who I want if we are not drafting top 3.
Tryamkin is a bull but he needs confidence. He doesn't know how good he is yet. When challenged last night he looked nervous but he is 21 years old. He will learn that others don't want to tangle with him as he gains confidence . - VANTEL
This makes much sense bro๐๐ป
If we get a top 3 awesome if not then we fill need & pick D.
Thats what JB eluded to & its very obvious. |

So Buffalo TO EDM Arizona Cgy Van CBJ WPG Ott MTL all have losing records . The rest of the teams don't have the cap space, so I guess he stays in TB |

For that to happen much depends who is on the board & who JB is targeting.
Also vice versa. |

Tank 2/3 of the year to draft 20 th - VANTEL
6-8th pick for 19 & 26th is a tough one to conceive I agree.
It could only happen after we pick & JB sees a gem & Boston wants our player.
At this time that seems a stretch though. |

We will probably be getting our second round pick at 35 th, find the gem then.
When you have a chance at a high end player you take it.
Do you take Bo Horvat or Jensen and Gaunce? I take Horvat every single time. |

I agree๐๐ป
Trading down i see us maybe going to 10-12th pick+ otherwise we stand pat.
After the top 3 i think 4-12th could go many differnt ways with D still around.
Idk what JB thinks of all the other D so I'd say trading down is very iffy. |

The only RHD in the 1st round r Bean & Fabbro.
Question is more what JB wants & what he sees in them.
Idk myself if either would be better than BPA or top D on the board eg Chychrun & what the other pick or piece going our way is to get our 1st. |
